So the Friday before Mother's Day I was called in to sub for the 6-8th grade special education class. I got to go to the Special Olympics! It was a lot of fun, and the Speech Therapists and one teacher (Evelyn) gave me a lot of advice about pregnancy. I had some nausea that day, but it was manageable.
Saturday, my mom came down for the Chocolate Fest! So, my house got cleaned, and I got to spend the day with my mom. She got me a cute top, Capri's, and sandals that are loose. I got her a nice candle, and we both had chocolate! After that I took her out to my mother-in-law's so she could buy a goat. Tim and I stayed out there for dinner. Then I wasn't feeling great so we came home.
And then Sunday, Mother's Day. When we woke up, I was feeling a little sick, so Tim got me a banana and saltine crackers. He also decided to have a full-on discussion about finances and other stressful things, and that made me literally sick. On the bright side, banana comes up easy. I had some chicken noodle soup and crackers and felt fine for a few hours, so I started a registry on Target! Tim was making Nachos (corn chips and cheddar cheese), so I had a little bit. Chips hurt comping up. The rice and chicken I had for dinner stayed down, but didn't make me feel better.
I spent the rest of the day trying not to trow up, and fell asleep by 6 pm. When I woke up this morning, I felt like crap again. I ended up being sick about 5 minutes after Tim left. Is stomach bile yellow? I sure hope so, otherwise I don't know what came up. This morning I'm trying a bean burrito and rice, and hopefully it stays down.
I have my first Prenatal apt. today. I know there will be a ton of tests, including having my blood drawn! I hate needles, and the sick swimming feeling I get after I have my blood drawn. My current EDD is January 1, 2011, but that might change today. Hopefully all will be well, I won;t trow up again today, and I will be ok enough to finish my paper before class tonight.
